Resilient Ecosystems Board of Directors
Michelle Wilson
Finance Director and Board Member (Treasurer) Michelle brings a breadth of knowledge and experience to the Board, including a connection to agriculture via her work with the Kitsap County Agriculture Alliance and the Farmers Markets. She also brings knowledge of non-profit resources, business and operations to our team. With the addition of Michelle we have developed a Board that can vision a bright and resilient future and help bring people together to make our goals reality. |

Ronnie Johnston
Communications Director and Board Member (President)
Ronnie has had a long career with the government, including military service, and retired a few years ago from FEMA. This experience has given him an in depth understanding of both the realities of disaster and the of the governments response to it. This is not to say that the government response is inappropriate, just that government and human response needs to be different to disaster, the human needs to be immediate and the government long term, focused on recovery. Ronnie understands that people do not tend to prepare for a disaster, even a known one, and that a massive effort needs to be taken on to change this culture or non-action. This makes Ronnie a perfect member of the Resilient Ecosystem Board, he brings vital insight to the issues and thoughts on addressing them.
