I’m Free, The Who
I'm free
I'm free
And freedom tastes of reality
I'm free
I'm free
An' I'm waiting for you to follow me
If I told you what it takes
To reach the highest high
You'd laugh and say 'nothing's that simple'
But you've been told many times before
Messiahs pointed to the door
And no one had the guts to leave the temple!

Perspective allows us to see the path forward

Picture
Let's start with a couple of questions:
  1. What if, messiahs, prophets, spiritual leaders, guru's etc. simply had a greater perspective than those around them?
  2. What if, the texts written about them and their teachings were a means to coop the lessons of that perspective so that change did not occur, or could be controlled?
Thinking about those two questions can hurt your head, add a historical perspective and you realize just how much truth and power lay in the answers.
None of what we are talking about is new, it is all there to see by anyone. These topics have been bandied about for centuries in many ways, from self help books to philosophers, and spiritualists, even mainstream people like Zig Ziglar and Napoleon Hill have touched upon these concepts. The issue is not the information but in these four areas:
  1. How the information is presented often allows it to be dismissed as bunk from spiritual frauds, and profiteers.
  2. The perspective and delivery of the information is not broad enough, nor does it provide enough clarity to be useful to the individuals trying to relate to it.
  3. We are overwhelmed and unable to take in even simple new information, let alone complex calls for change.
  4. Rarely does the presented material come with an instruction manual and a support structure.
The Punch Line
If all of this remains true there will be no future where mankind thrives, rather a continued decline into extinction.
This is really not fear mongering, or supposition, it is science based on the cascading events in front of us, and our inability to come together and respond.
There are many reasons for this, far to much to cover in a webpage, thought our workshops do. The bottom line is that we are at the far end of a failed cultural experiment that started a long time ago, and the results are coming home to roost.

How it Works

Perspective
At every point we work to help people3 gain a wider and deeper perspective allowing them to see beyond the moment of crisis to the possibilities. This allows them to begin to see the commonalities with other people instead of the differences our culture teaches us to focus on.
Unlearning/Learning
We are all a product of our cultural indoctrination, and so need to unlearn some key programming in order to take in the new information required to question, see, connect and communicate, creating the furrows in which a grassroots community building effort can grow.
Together
We are taught from early on that we are alone, and to a great degree we are, but not as alone as our cultural programming leads us to believe. Our culture is a construct that has been programmed for centuries to favor the few, together we can reprogram it to favor humanity as a whole. First we must relearn how to be together.
United we Stand, Divided we Fall ~Aesop
Tipping Points
"Never doubt that a small group  of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ~ Margaret Mead
A powerful quote that it turns out has strong scientific support!
The phrase tipping point or angle of repose is a sociological term that refers to that dramatic moment when something unique becomes common. (source: Science Daily Magazine)
The concept has been applied in many fields from economics to epidemiology.

It can also be compared to phase transition in physics or the propagation of memes or populations in an unbalanced ecosystem.
According to several studies this number is somewhere between 10 and 20 percent, making the process of change very doable.

The Puzzle
We do not have all the answers, and are on the journey with you. We have just spent more time asking questions and being focused on a solution. We have a framework and a way forward, that said we know the starting point and some of the milestones, but have no idea where we all will end up. We are sure of one thing, if we follow the path and hold tight to our emerging humanity, it will be a far better place than we are!
We got the edges, help us finish the puzzle.

What does it cost?

Nothing! we are a not for profit 501c3 designation by the IRS. We are initially funded through grants and partnerships, long term funding is being developed through a subscription system with outreach to the people we are working with. We ask those that can to subscribe for $20 per month ($240 per year) for which they get a receipt at year end for taxes. Any funds beyond the cost of operations will be used for project development and seed funding for community development and capacity.
The real cost is your involvement in creating a human future for us all!
