Resilient Communities Process
The process of change
“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it” ~George Santayana
The heart of creating Resilient Communities is driving the change necessary to create human supportive communities that have the capacity to overcome. History shows us that all meaningful change comes from humans connecting and driving change. Our culture tells us, our schools educate us, and our every engagement with media informs us that change comes from the top down... No meaningful change that is good for humanity has ever happened that way! That is how we have become stuck in this endless destructive model of inequality, fear, and polarization.
Coming together one neighborhood at a time, building Resilient Community Connections, based on consensus, democratic process and agreement is the map to a different future.
Frightening, sure, but taking this step, and embracing your humanity, and the process will lead to a future that is better for all of us.
