We understand all of the "issues" with this PSA campaign, including the actor was not Native American, that the messaging was about litter, even though the commercial included industrial pollution, and that the focus was on people and not corporations. All of that said, and understood, it was a very effective tool to address awareness and activism on environmental issues. Why are there no PSA's like this today? Corporate owned media, dark money in politics, lack of regulation, focus on protecting investments over people, the list is endless. How do we fix this, "We the People" find a way to connect and create the will to change this. Grassroots has always been the best and most reliable tool to make lasting change.
